Yamatrack

✅ Key Features

Fleet Tracking & Management

YamaTrack allows golf-course operators to track the location of each golf cart (and sometimes utility/maintenance vehicle) in real time across the course

It also monitors usage such as battery/amp-hour metrics, enabling optimized rotation and maintenance of carts.

“Shutdown” or “Lockdown” features: e.g., disable a cart after hours or lock it down in certain zones.

Geofencing / Geozones

Define unlimited geo-zones: you can create virtual boundaries (e.g., off-limits bunkers, wet turf areas, cart-path only areas). If a cart enters/exits that zone you get alerts or can restrict movement.

Speed control by zone: set different speed limits depending on where the cart is (path vs rough vs near green).

GPS/Player Experience Features

A mobile or in-cart display offers yardages (tee-to-green and layup spots) for the player. For example: touch any point on the hole map and the system gives distance to that point and from there to the green.

A “Flyover” feature: a 3D or map-route view of each hole, giving a visual preview.

Shot distance tracking: you can mark your shot in the app and then see how far you hit it.

Food & Beverage integration: Players can view menu items, order snacks/food directly from the course via the mobile app.

Tournament & Event Module

YamaTrack has features supporting tournaments: live leaderboards, player pairings, scoring integration.

Bluetooth connectivity for player audio or phone streaming.

Management Dashboard / Analytics

Operators get analytics: pace-of-play monitoring, cart usage, maintenance insights.

Allows proactive marshaling (course staff intervene when play slows) and tracking of playing pace.

Ease of Updates & Integration

System supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates, so courses can keep the system current without major hardware changes.

Mobile app designed to require minimal setup for players (no signup, simply select course) in many cases.

🎯 Why these features matter / use-cases

For course operations: Better visibility into cart/fl eet usage means optimized resource allocation (fewer carts idle, better battery life, reduced wear). Geofencing and shutdown features help protect turf (by restricting cart access) and prevent unauthorized usage. Pace-of-play tracking helps improve customer satisfaction (nobody wants slow rounds).

For players: A richer on-course experience — accurate yardages, interactive map, shot tracking, ordering food/drink without walking off the course, even streaming music — adds perceived value.

For tournaments/events: Live leaderboards and pairing modules help the course host events more smoothly and deliver a professional experience.

For maintenance and safety: Remote tracking of carts, speed control, geo-zones restrict access to dangerous or under-repair areas.
